Salt Scrubs

Why Salt Scrubs?

Salt scrubs are more abrasive because of their sharper edges and are capable of doing a better job at smoothing the rough skin of the body. What makes salt scrubs different from sugar scrubs is that they offer therapeutic, mineralization benefits! Our scrub blend has natural purifiers that remove the toxins that block the pores of the skin. It helps the skin breath easier, promotes better circulation, tightens the skin and improves skin texture.

Other benefits of using salt for our scrubs are that they remove dead skin and are the ideal treatment for skin detoxification. Since the salt granules are a bit more rough than the gentler sugar scrubs, salt scrubs are a good choice for where your skin can get especially dry and calloused. Make sure that after you use the scrub, apply a rich, moisturizing body butter, oil or cream to replenish the skin’s moisture. While salt scrubs are wonderful, they are abrasive, and they are not meant for daily use—once a week is recommended unless you are putting that salt in your bath, where the detoxification properties would work really well internally too!

Himalayan Salt is the only salt used in the facial scrubs and are finely granulated. Himalayan salt has significant beauty benefits helping absorb excess oil, clear pores and remove impurities from the skin. Use facial scrub as an exfoliator. It is safe enough to use daily, if needed.
